LOCAL ART SUPPLY STORE LAUNCHES NEW BRAND

BURLINGTON, VERMONT – Black Horse Art Supply, a staple in the art community, has changed its name to Vermont Art Supply and launched a new website to go along with its re-branding. John E. Bates, owner and art supply expert, says, “A large majority of our web business is out-of-state and the Vermont brand has always been appreciated by our clientele. This will allows us to turn the Black Horse name into a brand that will offer other art-related products for the site, as well as products from Vermont manufacturers that we feel our clientele will enjoy.”

Along with the name change comes a new site with improved functionality. Artists in Vermont and beyond can order the products they’ve come to love from Vermont Art Supply directly on the web. Have questions? Just call the store and John is happy to give his expert advice on any art related inquiry. He says, “The most exciting thing about the new site, besides having an updated platform, is being able to offer more products and services as we grow into our next 16 years of business.”

The new site also allows for the promotion of their creative space, Black Horse Studio Project and Gallery, which offers art education, artist residencies, gallery openings and more. They are planning on bringing in manufacturer teaching artists to offer demos and classes for area artists and art enthusiasts to be held at their Pine Street location. Vermont Art Supply is looking forward to continuing to offer the quality products, advice and encouragement to the artists as they have for the past 16 years.
